April has been a part of El Estoque, Monta Vista High School's newsmagazine, for three years, as a staff writer, copy editor, and currently, graphics editor. During this time, April has written several articles, some of which have been nationally recognized by high school journalism organizations like JEANC, NSPA, and CSPA.
